About Fat Squirrel Photos

Photographing places and moments helps us to remember not only who we once were when we stood under marbled columns,
at the base of heavenly mountains, or atop the balconies of ancient stoned cities;
but, capturing those moments also helps us remember who we instantly became when we experienced them.
New places, new buildings, new hillsides, new people, new perspectives...they make us new.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Amateur photographer.

Nature lover and tree hugger.

California girl with gypsy tendencies.

There is beauty in every moment of every day, in every corner of this blue green sphere floating in space. It's a big, wide, wild world. I've seen only a fraction of it. Fat Squirrel is my way of sharing the joy and beauty of this world with those who seek "more". More diversity, more perspectives, more adventures, more....life.

It's important to share what we have seen and experienced in this world. I have always loved writing letters, but in an electronic world that little pleasure has fallen by the wayside. So, I also hope my notecard products inspire you to write and connect with someone. When we put pen to paper, the communication process becomes more intimate. From heart to pen to paper.

Share a beautiful image, share your perspective, share an adventure.

Share life.

big beautiful world.

"Art, history and travel are the passions that most influence my painting. Colors bring me joy, nature brings me peace and culture broadens my perspective. I was born in Africa, grew up in Europe and continue to find new places to explore. Life is full of amazing sights that provide constant inspiration.  Today, I call  the Monterey Peninsula my home and there is no place I would rather be."
